What to do when it's cold out...

When I woke up this morning it was freezing. So Georgia and I styled sweaters! See post 

So since it's so chilly, and I'm in a cozy sweater.. Here's what to do on cold (rainy) days!

But since I'm in shorts it's all gonna be indoors... 

•Crafts:

Crafting is a perfect way to stay busy and warm! 

•Take a nap:

Cacoon yourself in a cozy blanket!

•Baking: 

The smell of cookies is always amazing! 

And cookies fresh out of the oven are even better when it's cold! 

•Read a book:

Grab that book you got for Christmas or finish one you're already reading, cuddled up near the heater!

•Make a fort: 

Fill it with blankets and stuffed animals to keep you warm! 

•Youtube: 

Settle down and watch some funny videos with your stuffed animals! 

•Tell jokes: 

Puns are my favorite! Honey is more partial to knock knock jokes 

•Play games with friends: 

                        (Little sisters work too) 

    Hide 'n seek 

•Wear warm socks:

   Bonus: "ice skating" in your socks 

•Listen to music and relax

•Soup! 

•Hot tea:

•Hot chocolate:

    

•Hot coffee: 

-you can add a hot drink to almost any of the other activities! 

•Watch TV:

Put on a warm hat, or a silly one! It'll keep your ears warm and make your friends laugh!

•Make a list:

•At home "Film Festival":

Marathon movies! Spend several hours on the couch under a warm blanket with a big bowl of popcorn! 

Sweater weather

So I got some cute new sweaters!

And just in time for a cold front. It's been really hot lately, and I'm so excited to be able to wear these! So today Georgia and I are gonna be styling them!

This oversized green sweater is from American girl. Its very cozy! 

It can be worn with jeans for a casual look, or a skirt for something girly. Here's Georgia modeling it with some denim jeans from woodlandpines on etsy, and warm boots, to keep her cozy during this cold spell. 

Most sweaters can be worn with anything! Over dresses, with tights, leggings, jeans, skirts, even shorts. 

So here's Georgia and I styling the pieces in the ways mentioned above.

I'm modeling my new sweater from American Girl, over a black skater dress, with black flats from micheals.

Georgia styled the Aztec patterned sweater with paint splattered skinny jeans.

I'm wearing a thin white sweater from woodlandpines and black and white shorts from american girl, with black combat boots- also from American Girl.

Georgia is wearing a thin coral sweater from American girl, white lace shorts from etsy, and pink and red shoes from AG. 

Both of these outfits are definitely not for today's temperatures! Saving these for those 90° days that you can count on in Texas.

I'm styling my new white and blue patterned sweater from American girl! I'm wearing it with denim shorts and pale blue shoes. 

My little sister, Honey, and her best friend, Juniper, decided to join!

Honey is rocking a blue sweater from QTPie_doll_clothing on etsy. She styled it with warm jeggings and socks, and cozy boots- all from American girl. She has a white bow in her hair!

Doesn't she just look adorable?!

Juniper has a collared "Love" sweater from American Girl. Paired with some black leggings, red shoes, and a pink and red headband. All from AG. 

Hope also ended up wearing a sweater, and it wasn't even because of me! So here's hopes sweater outfit of the day!

She styled a grey pullover from etsy over a pink frilly dress, and black flats from American Girl. 

We basically just ended up playing dress up! But we did style the sweaters pretty cute, if I do say so myself. So I hope you can get some inspiration from this!
