New friend!

So today while I was out in the garden I
noticed a moving truck! Someone new is moving into dollville! 

I didn't see the girl as I watched them unload their furniture, but around 4 o'clock I heard a knock on the door! 

I opened it and she was standing outside! 

She introduced herself as Penelope and told me her parents noticed me earlier and told her to come say hello! 

I introduced myself and invited her in. 

We sat at the table and she told me about herself. She's 14 just like me!

She loves the outdoors and gardening too! She's an arts 'n

crafter and a scrapbooker! 

I introduced her to Honey 

and Lulu

and they seemed to hit it off. 

I offered to show her around the neighborhood and the woods in the area but she had to get home for dinner- so we'll have to do it another day.

I invited her to come over tomorrow after school and she agreed! 

I'm so glad to have another friend! And I can't wait for our walk and hike tomorrow!
