Showing Penelope around!

When I saw the bus I got so excited to see Penelope! She got off the bus and came to knock on my door! 

We walked down the street and I told her about all of our neighbors I know. After a while of seeing the area I decided to show her my favorite place!

The creek! 

After a very very short trek down you're at the creek.

It's beautiful in this area!

We explored for a while but I wanted to show her more!

So we hiked further into the woods and walked out towards the water fall.

"It's so beautiful!" Penelope exclaimed as she looked around

"If you think it's pretty now, you'll love it in the spring when everything is green!"

I showed her around the area and we found a few rocks to skip. 

At this point it was starting to get late so we headed home.

She thanked me for showing her around and headed home, promising to stop by after school tomorrow!
